Welcome to City Center Market
City Center Market is a full-service natural foods grocery store, committed to bringing great food, a friendly atmosphere, and a better way of life to the Cambridge community. We understand the goodness and health benefits that organic produce and natural foods can offer. We always bring you the freshest, most wholesome foods in our area.
Produce. Our organic produce department offers a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, local whenever possible.
Bulk foods. Save money and eliminate excess packaging by buying grains, flours, nuts, cereal, spices and other bulk foods from our large and varied bulk department.
Wellness. You’ll find high-quality supplements, herbs, and homeopathic products here, and we work with local practitioners to make available the products they recommend. We also have natural body care products without the questionable ingredients and never tested on animals.
Local. As a co-op, we are committed to a strong local economy, and are constantly seeking out products made or grown in Minnesota to make available to you. We offer local beef, chicken, pork, honey, maple syrup, milk, eggs, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and more.
Special diets. We have a broad selection of food choices for those who follow alternative diets – including gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free, vegetarian and vegan.
Established in 1979, City Center Market is a cooperative owned by its members and open to the public – everyone can shop and anyone can join!
The Farmers’ Market starts the first Saturday in May (and will continue every Saturday through the last Saturday in October) in our parking lot. The early vendors will offer bedding plants and hanging baskets.
From 10 am – 3 pm, stop in and sample salsa & chips! Our Café will offer our Bird Mountain coffee (a dark roast blend from Mexico) at 10% off!

Allina Health is kicking off their Neighborhood Health Connection program with a fun family event in our parking lot in conjunction with the Farmers’ Market. Stop in and demonstrate your skill with a hula hoop, learn about gardening, or try out a family workout routine!
A dozen or so of our local vendors and producers will be on hand to provide samples of their products, tell you about their farms and shops, and offer you great deals! The Café will feature 10% off our brewed coffee all day – Peace Coffee, which is organic, fair trade, and locally roasted! At 11 a.m. Atina Diffley, an organic vegetable farmer and founder of Gardens of Eagan, will be next door at Scout & Morgan Books signing her new book “Turn Here, Sweet Corn”. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. it's Music in the Café! Kenny Krona will entertain us with his wonderful blend of old and new tunes!
City Center Market’s deli will sell refreshments at the season’s first Barn Dance at Sweetgrass Farm. The band is One For Daddy-Oh, an instrumental swing band. A donation is requested, and it is a smoke-free and alcohol-free event. For more information, contact Gayle at gayle@citycentermarket.coop.
